Crown Technical Systems was formed in 1996 to provide products and services to the power and utility industries. As of the end of 2007, the company has grown to acquire forty employees and approximately thirteen million dollars in sales. Crown has two facilities in the Pomona-Ontario area (Southern California) totaling over eighteen thousand square feet.

Crown has grown in its repertoire of products and services. Crown started with designing, manufacturing and testing protective relay panels. Soon after, Crown integrated outdoor metal control buildings. This process led to the in-house fabrication of outdoor
metal buildings. In addition, Crown began designing and manufacturing of low and medium voltage switchgear. Furthermore, Crown offers field service installation, cabling and testing. Crown's design, manufacturing and testing capabilities are top notch because of its engineers; the addition of fabrication and other manufacturing equipment; as well as the increase in Crown's testing capabilities.
