We are looking for Mechanical Engineer Assistant Manager to assist in handling projects, supervise and assist other engineers and be a main contact point on managing of projects. Candidates possessing any combination of the requirements listed below are encouraged to apply.

• Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or have a minimum of (5) years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Must be able to design Structural Steel Fabricated Parts, Sheet Metal Parts, and have a good design aptitude.
• Strong Auto-Cad experience is a must.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in supervising at least 2 or more employees.
• Must have experience in one of the two below categories:
• 1. Medium Voltage Switchgear experience including Front Elevations, Section Views, Sheet Metal Design, Bus Design, and the ability to read a single line diagram.
• 2. Control Building mechanical design including Plan Views, Wall Elevations, Structural Base Frame Drawing, and all Sheet Metal Part drawings.
• Experience and knowledge MS office programs.
• Must possess strong leadership and problem solving skills as well as solid planning, organizing, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Must be hands on with good analytical capability.
• Be able to multi-task.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• 1. Project Management
1. a. Coordinate directly with customers regarding specification/design questions and clarifications.
2. b. Design product to meet or exceed customer spec requirements
3. c. Work with other departments
• 2. Design/Fabrication Drawings: Design and draw all fabrication and assembly drawings for control buildings and/or control panels.
1. a. Creating mechanical 2-D fabrication and assembly drawings.
• 3. Oversee assembly processes.
• 4. Job Work Orders
• 5. Material Order Requests
• 6. Work with Management on Areas of Improvement to standardize and increase production.
• 7. Assistant in Supervising the Mechanical Engineering Department Personnel
• Bids & Proposals
• 8. Switchgear Product Development
• 9. Project Management
• 10. Production Interaction
• 11. Develop Bills of Materials and other drawings for projects on-hand.
• 12. Complete other tasks given by the Mechanical Engineer Manager or other members of Management.
