Crown Technical Systems, a leading manufacturer of Relay Control Panels, Switchgear and Metal Control Buildings for the Utility Power Industry, has a great opportunity for a Punch Press Operator in our Fontana, CA office.

Job Description

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Setting up and Operating a CNC Punch Press (Motorum/Wiedemann) including tool changes and program loading
• Reading sheet metal drawings
• Dimensionally checking first article parts
• Ordering misc. shop supplies

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years substantial experience using a Punch Press
• Experience in a related field to the Utility/Power Industry is a plus.
• Experience in reading sheet metal drawings.
• Must possess basic math and reading skills.
• Basic understanding of sheet metal equipment and processes including press break, welding, machining, etc.
• English & Spanish speaking is a plus.
