Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Assist the QA Manager with ISO 9001 compliant quality system.
• Ability to be both a working QA Inspector while assisting with QA documentation.
• Perform in-process and final inspection on products.
• Inspections include paint, sheet metal, assembly, wiring, and labeling according to standards and direction of QA Manager or other Management.
• Maintain all quality documentation including QA Manual, Complaint Reports, Production Documents, etc.
• Assist with implementation of complete quality system to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
• Assist in company approval process with new customers.
• Assist with quality inspections.
• Attend monthly QA meetings.
• Other duties assigned by QA Manager and other Management.

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years previous Quality Assurance System experience in a shop type environment.
• Experience in Switchgear, Relay Panel, or Control Building manufacturing is a major plus.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
• Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of sheet metal is a plus.
• Able to work well with others and maintain a professional environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to juggle many projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must. Knowledge of Auto CAD is a plus.

• A minimum of 5 years previous managerial experience in a shop type environment.
• Strong mechanical electrical aptitude.
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, CAD, project management).
• Demonstrated record of self-motivation and being able to work in a team environment that is fast-paced.
• Experience with ISO-9001 Quality Systems is a plus.
• In-Depth knowledge of manufacturing methods and systems.
• Excellent communications skills (oral written).
• B.S. in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams and encourage cultural change.
