Inventory Coordinator

Crown Technical Systems, a leading manufacturer of Relay Control Panels, Switchgear and Metal Control Buildings for the Utility Power Industry, has a great opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator in our Fontana, CA office.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • • Great organizational, technology/computer, and communication skills.

  • • A positive attitude and great work ethic requiring little or no supervision.

  • • Participates and maintains a safe work environment.

  • • Experience with computers and Microsoft office.

  • • Be able to multi-task.

  • • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • • Be able to read construction drawings and blue prints.

  • • Experience in Manufacturing a plus!

  • • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

  • • Computer literate (Excel, spreadsheets, Word).

  • • Ability to conduct cycle counts to maintain minimum stock levels.

  • • Works well with minimum supervision.

  • • Must have excellent communication skills.

  • • Communication and follow-up is an integral part of position.
    • 1. Place all received materials on job shelves.

    • 2. Place all company stock items on company stock shelves & check into
      inventory system.

    • 3. Organize all job/company shelves.

    • 4. Control Panel - Job Kitting:
           a. All material is to be pulled (1) week before assembly start date of job
           b. A list of all missing material must be sent to purchasing & the actual (not      estimated) delivery date sent back to the material coordinator
           c. All spare parts to be pulled and boxed up at time of kitting
           d. All cables, aux. relays, fuses, diodes, resistors, etc. are to be boxed up at time
    •      of kitting.
           e. All items pulled from company stock must be checked out of inventory system

    • 5. Job Manual Boxes are to be made at time of part kitting. If applicable, spare parts are to be placed in job manual box.

    • 6. Building – Job Kitting:
           a. All material must be placed on job shelf
           b. A bill of material per job is to be highlighted showing all the material that has been      received.
           c. All spare parts for building are to be boxed up (1) week prior to building shipment.

    • 7. Must keep track/control of incoming and outgoing items from inventory area (transfers between departments).

    • 8. Handle inquiries about ongoing jobs and stock checks.
